I would like to conduct a risk management benchmarking survey of which I will share the results with the community  who respond to this survey:

 

1)  What business sector are you a member of (financial sector/manufacturing/public...   etc)

2)  Do you have a dedicated Enterprise Risk Management Function/Department in your organization

3) Whom does this  Risk Management Organization report to

4) How many members of the Risk Management department do you have.

5) Please share job titles and descriptions of these functions

6) Do you have an automated toolset to perform your risk management functions

7) How are risk assessments performed?  Are they performed at the business unit level?

8)  How many departments/functions participate in the reporting of risk assessments?

9)  Do you track and report on key risk indicators

10) How does your organization report on operational risk events?

If risk management is about decision making, are current risk management solutions irrelevant?

A question related to classification of instruments between trading and banking book.

We have an interesting question from one of our members.       "We usually perform OTC FX transactions with clients backed-to-back on the market (with Banks). Now we are going to perform a FX swap (i.e. Spot + forward) JPY/EUR for the Bank account for 1 week at the longest. The purpose is to get EUR place @ CB for LCR compliance purpose (no trading purposes).
