An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Rolls-Royce as a Business Continuity Senior Manager based in Derby.
This position represents an ideal opportunity for you to broaden your experience as part of the central Enterprise Risk Management team and to take the lead on Business Continuity and Crisis Management globally in a market-leading organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate the implementation of the global Business Continuity Management process across the organisation.
- Provide senior teams with the required reporting and assurance for the Business Continuity Management process, to enable effective decision making and investment.
- Develop and maintain an effective Group wide approach to manage major incidents and crises. This includes coaching senior teams on the approach, leading exercises and driving improvements.
- Support and maintain a network of trained Business Continuity Coordinators and Champions including developing, delivering and maintaining appropriate learning solutions, coaching and tools.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key industry groups and other business continuity professionals and in turn, provide the business with expertise and advice relating to new standards, best practice and emerging.
Qualifications and experience
- Business Continuity Management experience. Implementing Business Continuity across a large organisation(s) and ideally this will include: Significant BCM in a manufacturing environment , BCM with External Suppliers, Crisis & Incident Management, Coordinating & facilitating exercises and Overseeing BCM across multiple locations.
- Commercial understanding and the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Full member of Business Continuity Institute would be an advantage.
- University degree or equivalent.
- A good awareness of Enterprise Risk Management.
