- Undertake Property Risk assessments at key Group sites and key third party premises in order to record compliance with our Property Risk standards. The output from the assessments will include the production of underwriting reports containing COPE information, loss estimate calculations and recommendations for improvement where necessary.
- Provide advice to our Businesses on the application of our Property Risk standards and negotiate agreed positions with the Business and our insurers. This also includes new builds, major alterations and changes in use.
- Liaise with our external Property Risk Consultants regarding Rolls-Royce standards, ensuring consistency of application of Property Risk advice and recommendations across the Group.
- Liaise with our global Businesses and our Group Property regarding the progress and closure of recommendations made at Property Risk assessments, including on-going advice and resolution of any disputes.
- Be responsible for the provision of accurate management information regarding the progress of your Property Risk assessments and closure of recommendations raised by yourself and our Property Risk Consultants.
- You will be of Graduate calibre, holding professional qualifications in some/all of the following; Chartered Engineering, Member of Institute of Fire Engineers (MIFireE), Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII), and Member of the Institute Risk Management (MIRM).
- You will have a detailed understanding of Property Risk protection standards issued by various world-wide bodies including the Loss Prevention Council (LPC), National Fire
- It is desirable that you have previously held a property risk role for an Insurer, Insurance Broker or reputable property risk consultancy.
- Protection Association (NFPA), Factory Mutual (FM) and Vertrauen durch Sicherheit (VdS).
- You will have acquired detailed technical knowledge regarding fire engineering, building construction and utilities, natural hazards, health and safety legislation, security risk, business continuity and supply chain risk.
