We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Crime Manager to join our team based in Milton Keynes office. In this role you will act as principle contact with the business areas in Retail, providing high quality advisory support and oversight of the financial crime risks and controls.

As a Financial Crime Manager, your main responsibilities will be

• Core support for all financial crime matters (Anti Money Laundering (AML), Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC), Sanctions and tax evasion).

• Effectively manages financial crime risks and escalates as appropriate in line with organisational and departmental requirements.

• Liaison with appropriate business areas to ensure that high value, financial crime matters are appropriately supported within financial crime compliance and best practices shared with wider teams.

• Lead in building strong working relationships, sharing knowledge, skills and experience, focusing on a shared vision in order to enable successful cross team working in pursuit of common goals.

• Actively promotes and enhances the reputation of Financial crime compliance (FCC) across the Company.


Minimum skills and experience required

• Financial Services experience within Retail Banking.

• AML, Counter Terrorism Finance (CTF) & ABC experience.

• Detailed understanding of Regulations and legal framework of FCC – policy & regulation. Must be able to liaise & communicate this to the business and equally understand the business and relay their perspective and complexities to the wider FCC function/community.

• Be able to think outside the standard framework.
