I am a graduate of Accountancy with cognate years of experience in public, private as well as International Non Governmental Organizations. I attended Government Commercial College - Zaria, Kaduna Polytechnic, Kano State Polytechnic, Ahmadu Bello University, and professional membership of Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) for my Secondary School, National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND) and Professional Certificate in Accountancy respectively. I am a registered member of (ANAN) No. 3125, one of the only two Government recognized professional accountancy bodies in the country and was inducted on March 30th, 2000. I hold a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Ahmadu Bello University, in year 2002. I worked with two of Ahmadu Bello University institutions (Agric & Health) in Finance and Internal Audit Departments as well as Zaria Pharmaceutical Company Limited. I have also worked with Global Rights a Washington based International NGO where first, as Grants Accountant and later Accounting Manager and Head of Finance. I served in various positions and locations with Management Sciences for Health (MSH) as Accountant and later Finance & Admin Officer. Presently I am with John Snow Inc. (JSI) USAID Supply Chain Management System (SCMS)/DELIVER Project first as Senior Grants Officer and presently a Senior Projects Accountant. I worked with projects funded by USAID, CIDA, SIDA, DFID; MacArthur, BMG, Henrich Boll Foundations and The Netherlands Embassy. I am computer literate and work very efficiently with QuickBooks Accounting Program, Microsoft Word, Excel, Peachtree Accounting and some other Accounting programs. I have good knowledge and application of OMB Circulars A-110, A-122 and A-133 and CF Regulations. I keep to the latter all donor and organizational policies, procedures and guidelines. I am open to relocation to any remote area.
