Summary I am an engineering and logistics professional bilingual in English and French who has spent most of the last 30 years setting up and managing businesses, international supply chains and logistics operations in the ports and hinterlands of Africa. Most recent success has been as General Manager Logistics & Supply Chain launching Iron Ore export operations by road, river and sea for London Mining in Sierra Leone. As country and regional manager I built entirely new export businesses in 5 African countries for Tate & Lyle’s molasses division. As an entrepreneur I partnered with African interests to establish new ventures in West Africa managing perishable goods supply chains to UK and EU markets as well as inspection and logistics services for multinationals including K’Line, Chevron, Stanley Mining, Renfreight, ECU Line, Bolloré Group, African Development Bank and many others After civil war forced evacuation of my family in 2003 I rebuilt my career in mining starting with Rio Tinto in the Mauritanian Sahara then with significant mining ventures in DRC, Burkina Faso and Sierra Leone providing logistics and change management skills and recently serving as General Manager of logistics for a world class mine, port and rail project. I grew up in Africa, my wife is Guinean and I have a deep interest in African history and politics.
