Professional career in energy commodities specializing in risk management along with expertise in technical and fundamental analysis, derivative structured products and quantitative risk analysis resulting in an accomplished career track record. Responsible for Energy Risk Management for BASF - a $100 billion, Fortune100 Company – for over six years, I have successfully managed a hedging portfolio of about $1 billion per year notional risk. This encompassed actively traded global energy commodities - such as crude oil, refined products and natural gas. The previous five years was devoted to working for IHS CERA –a premier global energy consulting firm – providing strategic advisory and fundamental analysis on global energy commodities markets resulting in more than 40 research reports being published. Prior to CERA, I worked for four years at an energy futures brokerage desk (FIMAT- Societe Generale) on Wall Street.
