I am a skilled Security Risk Management professional with gained experience in the Financial and Professional Services sector focusing on Risk Management, Business Continuity, Crisis Management and Disaster Recovery. By having lived abroad, I gained a sharp multi-cultural management perspective that I have applied by auditing, implementing and managing enterprise risk management global programs across large geographical areas, partnering with and training multiple people across businesses to increase and mature the organizational resilience and crisis preparedness. Successes included implementing, leading and auditing the administration of the Enterprise Risk Management framework in 10+ countries in the Americas region to increase the organizational self-assessment and effectiveness on managing risks; annually supporting effective Crisis Management and Business Continuity plan activation for 80+ incidents such as technology, weather, natural disasters, facilities, information security and political civil situations in the Americas Region; leading the implementation of the Disaster Recovery global requirements for business-critical technology infrastructure within Latin America. I focus on leveraging my skills in Technology, Marketing and Psychology as a I do believe these together empower and increase risk-oriented decision-making within organizations and communities driving a positive change in behavior towards a better understanding on how risk can become opportunity.
