Archibald David (Archie David) After 23 years of banking experience in India and the Middle-East, immigrated to Canada in 1995. During his banking career, he gained professional experience in various departments working as Officer and Operations Manager in local and international banking – such as: cash, bill of exchange, personal and corporate lending, L/C, Guarantees, Foreign exchange etc. In Canada, Archie took his base in Toronto and continued professional career in life & disability insurance sales and varied investment products of Canada Life as licenced Financial Advisor. After two years with Canada Life, he moved to Bay Street as Investment Dealer to work with a stock-brokerage house for a year and then joined the Self-Directed RRSP (SDRSP) Dept. of TD Waterhouse, H.O., Bay St., Toronto. Served in Retirement Planning and RESP Depts. and finally for four years worked as Mortgage Officer in their SDRSP Mortgage Dept. While working here, obtained his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. 2005 became Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP). 2006 became independent mortgage broker licenced through Mortgage Alliance Company of Canada, Toronto, Ontario.
