A consultant with more than twenty-five years of business experience; Betty has specialized in business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency management consulting for twenty years. A Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) with the Disaster Recovery Institute International since 1998; named a Fellow of the Business Continuity Institute (FBCI) in 2002. A client list that includes luxury goods companies (wholesale and retail), professional associations, utility companies, publishing companies, high-tech companies, manufacturers, insurance companies, and government agencies attests to her extensive experience. Long a proponent of fully including the supply chain in continuity planning, Betty is author of "A Supply Chain Management Guide to Business Continuity" (AMACOM Publishing 2011). She is also author of “Front Desk Security and Safety: An On-the-Job Guide to Handling Emergencies, Threats, and Unexpected Situations” (AMACOM) and contributed two chapters to the “PSI Handbook of Business Security” (Greenwood Publishing). Betty is a frequently requested business continuity and emergency management speaker and if often called upon by media representatives for comment. She serves as a member of the Peer Review Panel of the Business Continuity Journal. Partnering with executives, department managers, planning committees, and business continuity managers to provide a tailored, comprehensive approach to enterprise risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency management planning, training, and testing.
