I work in the public service and have done so for many years. Previous private industry work included auto, retail and health industries. In government I have undertaken most areas of corporate administrative function - finance, budget, assets, compliance, governance and human resources. My students have been across the board but primarily with a HR specialisation. In government I have worked for a large number of agencies including: Water; Natural Resources; TAFE; Employment; Primary Industries and now Health. I also completed 8 years at the local University finally leading the corporate services team for the Engineering, Health & Science Faculty until 2011 when I returned to government.
