I entered the financial services industry in 1970 and has taught the subjects of tax management and financial strategy planning since 1974. I am President and CEO of TaxWealth®, a tax analysis and solutions research company which identifies comprehensive tax planning solutions for owners of real estate, privately-owned businesses and other appreciated assets. In addition to serving its own clientele, TaxWealth® supports CPAs, attorneys, financial advisors and real estate and business brokerage professionals in helping to solve their clients’ tax problems. Headquartered in Newport Beach, California, TaxWealth® works with clients and professional affiliates nationally. I am also Chairman of the Strategy Planning Professional Advisory Council, an alliance of Tax and Estate Planning Attorneys, CPAs, Real Estate and other financial professionals. A firm believer in serving clients through a collaborative approach with other qualified advisors, these and other relationships help provide my company with extensive tax and investment research support, planning and asset management capabilities. I also have served the non-profit community for more than 35 years; I am a member of the Planned Gift Development Committee for St. Mary’s Medical Center Foundation in Long Beach, CA and a co-founder of the Aliso Viejo Chamber of Commerce, serving as a member of the Chamber’s President’s Advisory Council. I also am a contributing editor to real estate and other industry publications, writes on tax planning issues and speaks extensively on this topic at public and trade association forums.
