With 12 years of Information Systems professional services experience, particularly in areas like IT Risk, IT Assurance, IT Governance and IS Security, Bruno Horta Soares started his career at Deloitte Consulting, worked for Information Risk Management area at KPMG and nowadays he’s Manager at Enterprise Risk Services department at Deloitte Portugal. As a Manager at Deloitte Portugal – Enterprise Risk Services department he worked mainly in FSI, Energy and Telecommunications developing projects in areas like “Data Risk Services”, “Information and Controls Assurance” and “Security, Privacy, and Resiliency” for clients at Portugal, Angola, Cabo Verde, Timor. He has a 5 years degree in Management and Computer Science, from ISCTE and a post-degree in Project Management, from ISLA. He’s certified in Project Management Professional (PMP), from Project Management Institute (PMI), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) and Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT™ (CGEIT™), from ISACA, ITIL® version 3 Foundation, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor and Training for Trainers Certification (CAP). Additionally he’s invited professor at Catholic University (Lisbon, Portugal), teaching Information Systems Audit in the Security Masters and President of ISACA Lisbon Chapter. He is frequently invited to be speaker at conferences, seminars and forums related with Information System areas.
