Current position: Risk Manager EUROFACTOR HISPANIA (Crédit Agricole Group) (Factoring Business) Feb 2009 – nowadays (2 years 3 months) - Supervising a 6-people team, and directly reporting to the Head of Risk, Finance & Internal Control Manager. - Product: Factoring and Confirming. - Member of the Local Credit Committee and the Management Board. - Management and analysis from a credit risk perspective of the overall portfolio. - Interface with the European Credit Committee to defend the credit proposals for prospects and existing clients. Previous position Senior Credit Analyst - Corporate Banking ABN AMRO Spain May 2001 – Jan 2009 (7 years 9 months) - Assuming responsibility for a portfolio of loans and Spanish counterparts within the Consumer, Automotive, Health, Steel, Publising and Lodging sectors with a sales volume ranging between €1,000-5,000 mln. - Proficiency in analysing the credit risk of corporates and experience with credit risk assessment methodologies, rating agency (internal) criteria, and knowledge of risk-pricing techniques. - Analysing credit issues of transactions, including credit quality of counterparts and security. - Performing sectorial analysis to evaluate the customer’s position within its business segment. - Proactive identification of financial deterioration and recommended risk code changes in order to maintain the credit discipline of the portfolio. - Role as a central platform to interface with Bankers, Credit Committees, Product Specialists, Credit Administration, etc. both local and internationally.
