Proactive actions are preferred to spot the negative elements that might precipitate the event before it occurs. Stakeholders are more concerned about surprises and wish not to be taken off the ground. Risk management is considered a veritable faculty to think, plan and execute with the proactive and not a reactive mindset.I can share practical experiences and advice on risk identification, establishing controls and reporting to the board. Generally, i would love to participate in discussions bordering on Governance, Risk and Controls.
