Over 20 years experience in banking and securities industry at international level. Currently Head of Post Trade Projects at Monte Titoli, the Italian Central Securities Depository & Settlement Company now part of the London Stock Exchange Group. Former Head of Business Management at Monte Titoli, co-ordinating all planning & research activities, new business developments and customer management. I promoted and designed a formal Risk Management Department in Monte Titoli in 2007. In 2005 I developed the concept of "IT Convergence" predicting the advent of business models such as the one chosen by the Eurosystem for delivering TARGET2-Securities (T2S). Chairman of the ECSDA Working Group 5 encharged of contributing to the removal of Giovannini Barriers 3, 4 and 7. Participant in Giovannini Group on EU cross-border clearing and settlement arrangements. Consultant to the Community Affairs Commission of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament
