I am a student at The Technical University of Mombasa, taking Bachelor of Business Administration Accounting option. I am currently enrolled in fourth year final semester which I will hopefully complete in December 2013. I love my field of study and am always enthusiastic to advance in my career field. I have worked as an intern in the Finance department at Kenya Electricity Generating Company Limited(KENGEN) and also as an untrained teacher for Business studies among other subjects. Professionally I have attained CPA part II with the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries Examination Board (KASNEB) which am still taking Part III of it. I also have a substantial knowledge in computerized accounting especially using the Quick books, Sage and Pastel accounting softwares. I have a great confidence in myself and my capability to make a positive impact to the community through my career practice and also via other areas that I have a higher proficiency in. Through proper accounting practice, the community will have a better understanding of accounting its impact demonstrated by honesty, high levels of integrity, professionalism and a high customer value through quality products and services other than the primitive perspective of accounting as an area of strictly figures only. This will in the long run culminate into personal development and advancement and to the benefit of the members of the community not ignoring the advancements in technology and it affects business world. In simpler terms, any discussion, forum, activities and programs that seek to achieve this, then with no debate am in for it. Thank you.
