I have been working in Human Resources for more than 20 years. I began my profession after age 30 but I have had a very rich professional career; manufacturing, sales, retail, services, education and transportation. This has provided me and my employers with rich and diverse vision and experience that has proven beneficial and educational. After joining the airline industry I have had the benefit of learning the complexity and challenges of working with unions. This experience has opened many doors to continue learning and growing in my chosen field. Specialties: Training and development, interviewing, on-boarding, conflict resolution, HR policies and procedures (creation and interpretation), mediation and advocacy, recruitment, HR start-up, performance management, investigations. I have HRIS experience with SAP, Vikus, HRSmart and PreVisor. Safety management/training including policy creation, implementation and compliance.
