I have been working for several financial institutions (Rabobank, Crediet & Effectenbank, F.van Lanschot Bankiers, Effectenbank Stroeve/Theodoor Gilissen Bankiers) between 1985 and 2010 before founding my ouw research company LOEF Technische Analyse BV. The stock market crash in 1987 raised my interest in the investment advice arena and I have a special interest in the investment philosophy called 'technical analysis'. I am graduated Certified Financial Technician by The International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA) in the USA. My clients are private banking institutions, banking community, online brokers and financial planning which I guide through the up and down swings in the financial market trends both for the short and long term. During the financial crisis I have been frequently asked for my views on the markets by CNBC EUROPE (Squawkbox). The main challenge is to guide the investment managers through the waves and cycles of all kinds of trading. My last project is raising LOEF Technical Analysis Fund, which is actualy an 'absolute return' fund. I hope to connect to other people who agree we should not try to be smarter or stronger than the 'market place', but have the ability to respond to change, which is the only constant in live (in my view and experience).
