My studies and work experience have been concentrated on Agriculture and Rural Development - research activities; policy development, implementation, control and evaluation; publishing, consultancy and practical advise. The State Fund Agriculture – Paying Agency is a governmental institution dealing with the administration, execution and control of the support through the EU Funds and the national budget. Our goal is to “improve the competitiveness of agriculture and forestry, the environment and rural land management, as well as improve the quality of life and diversification of the rural economy.” I am passionate and dedicated in my effort to achieve that goal, not only in terms of rural, but also regional and international development. Specialties and Areas of Main Interest - Agriculture, Rural Development, European Union Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), EU Funds, E A F R D, Technical Assistance, Direct Payments per Area, EU Market Mechanisms, Regulatory Compliance, Sustainability, Sustainable Agriculture, Agroecology, EU Projects Evaluation and Control Measures, Research, Food Safety, Risk Assessment, Soil Science, Soil Management, Soil Fertility, Plant Nutrition, Farming Systems, Biotechnology, Agrochemistry, Technical Assistance. I have participated in the acceptance, evaluation, control and monitoring of over 300 project proposals under the Rural Development Programme as well Direct Payment applications - over 20 000 000 Euro value approved.
