I am a Environmental Science Policy Management Consultant with Human & Natural Systems (HNS) Consulting. The firm is here to help provide resource and background information that improves the involvement and understanding of local environmental and social impacts concerning the increasing demands of resource use, (e.g., energy, land and water interactions.) As a consultant I hope to improve coordination between local environmental and social impacts; to extend decision-making beyond management to policy settings that pay attention to local-scale consequences and impacts. Human and social systems have the capacity to act in anticipation of change where the question of linked resource use impacts are viewed as factors requiring mitigation strategies and best management practices that support environmental and social living.
