Elvis Shu Nchotu is a 29 year old Cameroonian and holder of a Masters (LLM) in Business Law from the University of Yaoundé 2 - Soa. He has served as Head of Collections for UNICS PLC, a micro financial Institution with 12 local branches and 02 foreign branches in the USA and UK for over 07 years now. He is a Certified Debt Specialist with the International Association of Professional Debt Arbitrators and is further training with the same institution to become a Certified Credit Counseling Specialist. He represents a great deal of Debt Collection Companies within the territory of Cameroon, to wit, First Collect International -London, Cedar Financial LLC – Califonia USA, Zhegian Xinmu Law Firm – China, Harvest Tanzania, East Africa Debt Collection – Kenya, Augustus Hall Limited – Nigeria, Inkarsso – Greece, Euregex – Germany, Appin Group – India to name but a few. He is also a member of the Board of Advisors of SACREC SARL, a central African Debt Collection Company. He has been called on two rounds to facilitate in debt collection seminars held in partnership with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Small and Medium size Enterprises. He is the founder and CEO of FACTS AND FACTORS CAMEROON (FAFCAM), a local and international debt collection, credit risk management and investigations company operating within the territory of Cameroon. He has proposed a regulation for pre-legal debt collection plus a code of conduct pending validation at the Presidency of the Republic. He is a LinkedIn member of ACA International, Global Debt Recovery Forum, International Association of Professional Debt Collectors, China Overseas Receivables Management, International Debt Collection, trace a debt group, International Association of Due Diligence Professionals, Debt Purchasers and Sellers Group etc.
