Unlike many others, my insurance career happened by choice, not chance. I had a natural aptitude for math but wanted to work in a business environment. After a brief stint as an actuary, I found my true calling in underwriting as it provided a fitting vocation to combine my curiosity with my passion for helping others learn and succeed. People say that I’m a good underwriter but I find it more personally fulfilling when being thanked for offering some timely words of wisdom and/or encouragement.
