Currently a Managing Director and Global Leader of Marsh Risk Consulting Supply Chain Risk Management practice. Responsible for product innovation, brand and business development. Authored two books. Prior to Marsh: - Partner, Booz Allen Hamilton & Ernst & Young - IT and Business Continuity Risk Executive at Chase Manhattan Bank, The Prudential (CISO/CBCO) & Martin Marietta Data Systems - Research Director at the Gartner Group. - Launched two startups (Technology Risk Advisors, LLC & Xeno LLC) Consulted with more than 50 organizations in twelve different industries . Traveled extensively, working with organizations in Hong Kong, China, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland, Italy, U.K., France, Germany, Brazil, Japan, Canada, and the U.S. Contributed to the World Economic Forum Global Risks Report, been a speaker on pressing global business risk issues for: National Association of Corporate Directors, Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), Risk and Insurance Management Society, the World Customs Organization, Singapore Global Entrepolis, and The Wharton School, Center for Risk Management and Decision Processes. Gary has been published in The Wall Street Journal, Financial Week, CEO Magazine, Shanghai Business Review, Financial IT Decisions, Financer Worldwide, Logistics Management, and CIO Insights. Published two books, "At Your Own Risk" (Wiley 2008) and "Single Point of Failure:10 Essential Laws of Supply Chain Risk Management (Wiley 2009). Serves on the Advisory Board/Center for Business Management, New York Institute of Technology. Received the U.S. Secret Service commendation for 9/11 response and a Silver Medal of Valor from NY/Nassau County Fire Service.
