Current Job Title: Manager - Risk Advisory Gillian is a manager in our Risk management team and will take responsibility for delivering the engagement. She has practical experience in risk intelligent framework development and implementation, drafting of risk policies, procedures, charters and risk processes, facilitation of risk workshops (operational, corporate and strategic), risk management diagnostic and maturity assessments, risk management “train-the-trainer” and awareness including key stakeholder on all levels within the organisation, defining roles and responsibilities of all key stakeholders within the risk process, intelligent risk reporting and development of risk dashboards and partnering / outsourcing and mentoring of the Chief Risk Officer role. Gillian has worked for a corporate engineering/industrial company in the past, where she was Head of Risk and Internal Controls for Africa, this role covered all processes from Strategic, Governance, Corporate (support), Compliance Implementation (support), and Supply Chain etc. Her primary responsibility was for managing strategic, operational and financial risk, Sarbanes Oxley Act, Compliance and the control environment across Africa, dealing with Audit committees, Executive Management and staff across all levels and cultures. Gillian has experience in process engineering, process mapping, database management, IT, SOA, Compliance, investigations and integrated enterprise risk.
