Dr Henry Nsa is a medical doctor with more than 15 years cognate experience in medical practice, of which more than 10 years are exclusively in public heath practice especially in malaria control. He has a medical degree in Nigeria and a Masters in International public health with a base in epidemiology from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Glasgow, the UK. He has attended many short courses in malaria, HIV/AIDS Care, and Management and Technical trainings in Nigeria, Ethiopia, Thailand, and the USA. He has served in different capacities in malaria control including: as program manager, Roll Back Malaria Program (2001-2008), Senior Technical Advisor, malaria at FHI-Nigeria (2009-2011), Ag. Senior Medical Advisor, CVDs, TB/HIV at FHI-Nigeria (2011), and currently as the Country Chief of Party, Africa IRS Project in Nigeria (2011-date). His objectives include: to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life/ survival in people suffering from preventable diseases (especially malaria), HIV/AIDS, and TB. This involves the offer of skilled services in the area of prevention and/or treatment, acquired through years of public health and clinical practice; preferably in a dynamic organization that encourages top-flight initiatives, career development and professionalism.
