I am a consultant to insurance agencies in the areas of Mergers & Acquisitions, Insurance Sales and Technical Training, I am an established Expert Witness for E & O Claims and I assist agencies through Management Consulting assignments. I am a problem solver for agents. Starting as an insurance agent in 1979, I worked my way up to selling and servicing large commercial accounts, including being actively involved in the claims process for my clients. I have a background in the commercial marine industry. From there I advanced to Insurance Company employment, as Regional Marketing Manager for a major Property and Casualty Insurer. As such I was intricately involved in Company operations, while still working with agents, helping plan long-term for business success, or to create long term exit strategies for them and for their families. I have helped build and develop clusters or networks of insurance agents. I see clustering as an avenue to preserve small agencies, local service and to meet the needs of insurance carriers and their ever increasing size and demands. I feel that my broad experience in insurance puts me in the position of understanding insurance from the inside out, and from both agency and company prospective. I now dedicate my time to success at all levels, from agency customer service and claims, ownership success and succession planning, assistance in both agency sales and purchases, as well as professional development, Expert Witness engagements in Insurance and Insurance Coverage, engagements to build agent networks to help small agents survive, and other problem solving assignments for Insurance Agencies and Insurance Companies.
