Strategic Planning Manager – RPP (Recruitment Partnering Programme – Army) As a member of the senior management team I am responsible for the current and future planning of resources within the National Recruitment Centre, ensuring that operations are able to deliver. Reporting to the Director and managing the link between all functional areas of the business, whilst project managing high level projects and programme managing internal efficiency projects. • Planned and managed the resources and service requirements (FTE and infrastructure) which have enabled continued high levels of business performance. Having to manage all stakeholders and third party suppliers, manage underperforming service providers and encouraged a culture of openness and responsibility. • Leading role in linking operations with business transformation, confirming that roll out of transformation programmes matched the requirements of operations. Whilst managing the relationship between operations and the PMO. • Led high level projects ensuring the delivery on time and quality; in line with the project plan. Responsible for building the business case, producing the plan and delivering in to operations. Leading the project team within a strong matrix organisation. • Directed a team of internal project managers in a programme of continual improvement projects. Implementing regular reporting whilst mentoring and developing their project management skills. Making sure the outcomes remain aligned with the strategy, and that the benefits are realised. Responsible for Risk log and owner of key risk in th ebusiness. Creating risk plans and mitigation action. Owner of business Continuity Plan.
