Currently a Senior Manager within Deloitte’s Enterprise Risk Services based in the Auckland Office and member of Deloitte’s Financial Services Industry group. I specialise in consulting on enterprise risk management and performing Market, Credit and Treasury reviews. Prior to joining Deloitte, I led the assurance reviews of all compliance and core banking activities in Westpac. This included RBNZ regulations, Basel II, APRA prudential requirements for banking and insurance (credit, market & operational risk), capital adequacy; and operational risk and controls reviews of the Treasury, Institutional Bank, Wealth & Insurance, Business and Retail banking. Formerly I was the Risk Manager ( and Head of Internal Audit) for AMI Insurance until March 2007. In South Africa I held Head of Risk Management & Assurance roles in Retail, Infrastructure, Hotels & Leisure, Transport and Manufacturing. In addition I owned an accounting and consulting practice for over a decade. I am a Chartered Accountant (NZICA, ACCA, and CIMA), Certified Internal Auditor (IIA-NZ), Certified Insurance Profession (ANZIIF) and Certified Treasury Professional (INFINZ).
