I am a chartered Accountant, working as a Financial Accountant for an SME in IT Distribution Industry sector. I support the Finance and accounting functions of the company. Responsible for enforcing enforcing robust financial control across all business activities. Ensure that there is compliance with all - Relevant legislation - Company Policy - Internal procedures and regulations My Responsibilities are: - Provision of accurate and timely month end and year end financial reports - Ensuring Accuracy and integrity of financial data and systems in line with the UK GAAP - Monthly journals of cash, prepayments, accruals - Account reconciliations, maintenance of bank account records. - submission of monthly cash flow forecasts, - Preparation of information for collateral and external auditors, and for VAT returns - Presentation of accurate information to management for planning activies, mitigating risk and maximising opportunities. Business Challanges: - Fast changing needs of the clients. - High Debtor Days due to marke location. - Multi currency - losses as a result of conducting business in many currencies.
