Jaurès Aka Yao Okou is a young Ivorian entrepreneur and the Managing Director of Trade West Africa Consulting Inc. His varied career in trade facilitation, distribution and consulting in Cote d’Ivoire and Ghana include Sales management, Distribution management, Training program management as well as People and Project management. He has developed an exceptional background and a professional management style based on excellent inter‐personal communication and an ability to make the best possible use of his personal network. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from ‘Université de Bouaké’ in Cote d’Ivoire and a Certificate of Competence in International Trade and Development from Lund University & TRAPCA joint program in Arusha, Tanzania. In addition, he also got a certificate in Standards and Agricultural Trade from World Bank Institute (USA) and a specialized certificate in Sustainable Development and Humanitarian sector from CERAP, Cote d’Ivoire. He is bilingual (French-English), member of the Ivorian Community of Economic Intelligence and First-Aider volunteer with Red Cross Cote d’Ivoire. Jaures is pursuing an Advanced Post-Graduate Diploma in International Trade Policy and Trade Law with Lund University & TRAPCA joint program in Arusha, Tanzania.
