Compliance Manager with an investment trust. My main focus is on monitoring and regulatory control.Identify, assess, mitigate, monitor and review policies and procedures and carry out monitoring reviews for regulatory adherence, avoidance of internal or external financial crime and reputational damage or financial risk. Prepare reports of findings, including recommendations for change, and follow up to ensure agreed changes are having the desired effect. Plan, implement and report on compliance monitoring reviews. Represent Compliance Department on projects and ensure adherence to regulatory controls, money laundering restrictions and internal and external risk threats. Answering bank wide questions regarding legal and compliance related matters. Analytical skills well demonstrated by the ability to work independently while handling monitoring reviews, having involvement in projects and evaluation and assessment of regulatory publications. Ensuring that all company documentation has prescribed regulatory wording, FSA regulations are complied with and that if the FSA were to review the documents they would meet their requirements both in words and spirit Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate comfortably, verbally at all levels with well developed written communication skills and the ability to tailor the material for the recipient.
