Private Banking Strategy and Risk Management Consultant Asia Wealth Management Consultancy Veteran Risk Manager within Wealth Management industry. With over 30 years experience I have written and or revised Credit Policies for Lombard Lending against Financial Assets as well as Mortgage Programmes for British, Swiss, American, Australian and Asian Wealth Managers both as an employee and independent consultant. I specialise in Strategic direction for Wealth Managers in Asia Pacific including review and/or production of Credit Policies for Lombard and Mortgage Lending. Additionally, review of Risk Rating of Asset Classes to ensure best practices are adhered to. Risk Management and Risk Managers should be an important component of any successful business. Working collaboratively with colleagues from the front office Risk should NOT be regarded as an obstacle to success but a major participant in creating and enjoying that success. In 2011 I spent a significant periods of time in Taiwan working with an on shore bank to formulate Lombard Lending Policy in addition to Risk framework for off shore businesses to be established in Singapore and Hong Kong in 2012.
