Experienced dedicated, detail oriented, and committed laboratory manager who ensures the best patient care through careful planning and leadership within a hospital laboratory. Communication, team building, streamlining, quality, and process improvement are my passion. Personal integrity within the laboratory and a complete understanding of our role in the continuum of care for positive patient outcomes yields a dedication to service and a commitment to quality. I am fully dedicated to the health system, embracing the current direction aimed at reaching top docile in the nation. Communication is of the highest priority when working with physicians, RN's, and hospital leadership. Providing education and recommendations concerning laboratory related testing, modeled from best practices and highest industry standards are essential for accurate, timely results. My employees are an extension of my myself and I am fully committed to providing them with tools required to succeed. As part of the goal of becoming the best laboratory within the health system, I promote teamwork by encouraging fun, communication, education, as well as demanding commitment, quality, efficiency, and personal accountability. Experience with CAP, CLIA, AABB, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards ensure successful inspections. Continuing education and research is performed regularly to ensure laboratory practices are current with accrediting agency standards.
