US Coast Guard: 23 years active duty as a commissioned officer. Certified as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) prior to retiring from active duty. 9 years as an HR Manager/Facility Security Officer (managed classified personnel and materials) for a business unit within a large government contractor. 3 years as a Maryland Transportation Authority Administrator VII (Intercounty Facility Administrator) facilitating development of budget, integration of electronic toll system, staffing and equipment ramp up, and construction of maintenance facilities to operate and maintain a unique open road all electronic tolling facility. The first 7 mile segment opened to traffic February 2011. Currently seaking opportunities in Human Resources or Operations in Federal, State, Local government or private sector companies.
