Mr. Mattice is Managing Principal of Mattice & Associates, a consultancy specializing in conducting enterprise risk assessments, guiding alignment of security & risk programs with business objectives, developing and managing business intelligence & counterintelligence programs, establishing business resiliency programs, implementing information assurance, intellectual property and brand protection strategies for both the physical and virtual environments, as well as, designing comprehensive security and risk mitigation programs to meet the needs of both large and small companies, as well as conducting audits of existing programs in these areas. Mr. Mattice comes to the consulting arena with a broad range of corporate and government experience. He has headed Corporate Security functions for three major U.S. based global corporations (Northrop Corporation, Whirlpool Corporation and Boston Scientific) and one mid-cap company (Wescom, Inc.) in dramatically different business sectors. His experience base traverses the defense & intelligence, electronics, life sciences, consumer products and service industries. Additionally, he previously headed a university affiliated educational institution dedicated to serving the law enforcement and private security sectors. He retired from his last corporate position as Vice President and Chief Security Officer for Boston Scientific, where his main areas of global responsibility include all corporate security functions, information systems security, intellectual property and brand protection, business intelligence, risk identification, analysis and mitigation, business continuity planning and corporate aviation operations. Boston Scientific operated in over 120 countries around the world. He is professional board certified in Risk and Information System Controls. He is Chairman of the Bord of Advisors for the Security Executve Council. The SEC is a think tank devoted to the study of 4 key areas: risk identification, analysis and mintogation solutions; Cyber strategies and information assurane; Core security measures; Resiliency and continuity of operations.
