I have 9 years of valuable experience in corporate finance working as a Corporate Banking Relationship Manager in Bancolombia S.A, one of the leading banks in Latin America. The range of my accomplishments and experiences in credit and risk management coupled with my MBA provide me with the knowledge and skills necessary to make contributions to this group. At Bancolombia, I obtained extensive experience analyzing forecasts and cash flows of projects presented by clients seeking capital investment and played the key role in presenting those projects to my board of directors in order to get the required approval. I also conducted market research in agricultural, petrochemical, food processing, manufacturing, packaging and beverage companies to understand financial, political, economic, and business trends for the purpose of analyzing my clients’ financial statements and advising them with the best strategies to improve their financial structure. In addition, I have helped more than 200 companies with their operating cycle, capital investments, treasury and working capital management, budgeting, planning and debt structuring decisions, and I have assessed the financial position of their companies continuously to ensure their credit quality (credit ratings). The projects I analyzed and approved had between $5 and $300 million of capital requirements. In my MBA projects, I gained very strong experience in strategy and cost analysis and sharpened my knowledge of Valuation, and Foreign Capital markets. The program also provided me with cross-functional team experience which has broadened my understanding of the business environment.
