Mr. Elias has over six years of experience in financial/investment analysis including: portfolio construction, asset allocation and investment strategy development, risk management, due diligence, and financial engineering. Currently, Mr. Elias is a Managing Director for the Florida Institute of Finance, a financial think-tank, where he provides consulting services to funds-of-hedge funds and hedge fund seeding firms on their manager selection processes and due diligence. He also works with single manager hedge funds in their efforts of developing a more sound institutional infrastructure. Lastly, he is advising prime brokers on their due diligence processes in support of their capital introduction programs. Mr. Elias was previously a Research Analyst for the World Opportunity Fund, a fund-of-hedge funds and fund-of-private equity funds, as well as, an Investment Analyst for Trinity Wealth Strategies, a wealth management boutique. Mr. Elias began his career in the securities industry as an Associate at Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. Elias also participated in a fellowship with the 110th Congress of the United States, where he was a Staff Assistant under Rep. David Obey for the House Appropriations Committee. Mr. Elias studied Finance at Florida Gulf Coast University and Business Management at Valley Forge Military College. He is a holder of the Chartered Family Office Specialist (CFOS) designation. Michael is a Board Member of the National Association of Family Offices and serves as an Advisory Board Member of the Florida Alternative Investment Association. He is also an active member of the World Affairs Council of the Florida Palm Beaches, the Network for Investors Action and Protection, and the Order of Malta, American Association, South Florida Auxiliary.
