More than 30 years of primary insurance and treaty/facultative reinsurance experience in Property and Casualty underwriting, origination, management and leadership positions in both home office and field office capacities, including total P&L responsibilities. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS  Proven track record in technical Property and Casualty underwriting  Deep understanding of Excess & Surplus Lines market relative to the Admitted market  Six Sigma Green Belt-Certified – strong process discipline  Excellent balance of home office and field office experience  Skilled in Portfolio Management and Portfolio Optimization  Led New Product Introduction efforts - demonstrated creativity in providing solutions to customer and/or market opportunities  Served on Corporate Underwriting Council to establish underwriting skill standards, match to authority levels delegated, and connect to performance expectations  Experienced in direct and brokered origination  Strong Relationship Management and Relationship Building skills  Experienced in leading and managing start-ups and turnaround situations  Helped start up insurance companies (i.e. minority-owned insurers)  Graduate of GE’s MDC Leadership program
