6/2010 – Present - GSI – Business Continuity Coordinator/Data Center Officer Developed emergency management plans for recovery decision making and communications for Group Services Inc. (GSI), ensuring continuity of business operation and governance. • Identified opportunities for strategic improvement and mitigation of business interruption caused by business, regulatory, or industry-specific change initiatives for a multi-billion dollar company. Critical functions included analysis of corporate intelligence data to identify trends, patterns, or warnings indicating threats to security of people, assets, information, or infrastructure. • Conducted corporate intelligence analysis for a multi-million dollar Auto Dealership to avoid fraud, financial crime, cyber-attack, terrorism, and infrastructure failure. • Developed a deep understanding and expertise in the development of business disaster recovery plans for physical locations with critical assets, including auto dealerships, aviation hangers and terminal buildings surrounding Municipal Airports, Art Storage Facilities, and Data Centers. • Created training and awareness presentations/materials for consulting clients to include preparing reports summarizing operational results, financial performance, or accomplishments of specified objectives, goals and plans. • Reviewed existing disaster recovery, crisis management, and business continuity plans and revised them after exercising contingency plans for a broad spectrum of industries vulnerable to major losses from both natural and human threats. • Structured an easy-to-use, comprehensive guide establishing effective, uniform, checklist-based response procedures across the corporation then validating and implementing through emergency response drills. • Established an IT disaster recovery plan by identifying potential IT vulnerabilities and designed a plan for ensuring fast recovery of critical functions. • Designed an innovative business continuity audit plan, together with the company’s IT Department, and ultimately responsible for improving the security for more than 20 critical IT applications and databases in two data centers. • Set up and assisted GSI’s Training Coordinator to revise and implement GSI’s Field Training Program and Training Check List Guide. • Enabled GSI to minimize or eliminate risk from events including cyber-attacks, IT outages, fire, bomb threats, storms, HAZMAT events, workplace violence, and facility damage from accidents by developing and implementing an 18 Month Roadmap to expand and mature the existing program and introduced a divisional maturity model and Recovery Point Objective (RPO). • Established a process and procedure for Vendor Business Continuity assessments for critical partners and provided standardized language for corporate vendor contracts.
