I hold a Profession Diploma in Education as well as a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Honors Degree obtained from the University of South Africa (UNISA), with majors in International Trade Law; World Trade Law; Banking Law & Usage; Companies Law; Advanced Negotiable Instruments; Advanced Criminal Law (Anti-Corruption, Anti-Money Laundering & Anti-Terrorist Financing Laws. I also have extensive teaching experience (15 years) as well as experience in Procurement and Contracts Management. My field of knowledge and experience also include a wide variety of international treaties and legal instruments such as: 1. The United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) 2. The United Global Compact 10th Principle Against Corruption, including, - Resisting Extortion and Solicitation In International Transactions; - Collective Action In The Fight Against Corruption; - Fighting Corruption In The Supply Chain Guide For Customer and Suppliers; - Anti- Cooruption Compliance In High Risk Markets; - The OECD Working Group On Corruption Annual Reports 3. The OECD - Convention On Combating Bribery Of Foreign Public Officials In International Business Transactions. 4. The OECD - Guidelines For Multinational Enterprises. 5. The OECD - Principles Of Corporate Governance. 6. The USA's Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (F.C.P.A) 7. The UK Bribery Act 2010. 8. The UK’s Financial Reporting Council’s UK Corporate Governance Code 9. The Global Reporting Initiative's G3 & G3.1 Reporting Guidelines On Corporate Reporting. I am currently employed at BIE South Africa as a Senior Advisor Procurement Quality Management and part of my work entail the identification, assessment and management of risks in the area of procurement.
