I am the Business Risk & Continuity manager at Gold Fields' Growth and International Projects group. Gold Fields is the World's 4th largest gold mining company. I look after geopolitical risk(i.e. Country Risk, including stakeholder strategies and crisis management and continuity. Assessing political risk in a fluid environment like we're experiencing these days constitutes one of my challenges as well as determining trends on the business environment with regards to mining investments.
