Civil Engineer and MSc in Civil Engineering, degrees in Global Warming Science (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, USA), Disaster Risk Management (World Bank) and Natural Disasters (McGill University, Canada). Large (over 26 years) experience mainly in Flood Risk Management Problems, above all in the definition and design of flood protection measures, both structural and non-structural. Since 2013 I am Senior Consultant in the Water and Environment Area of SENER. Since 2005 I was in charge of the Water and Environment Area of the Business Unit of Civil Works and Architecture of SENER. Since 1989 I participated, at first as Specialist and later as Project Manager, in numerous hydraulic, hydrology, flood prevention, decision support systems, watershed planning, water supply and sanitation studies and projects. Likewise, I served as Director of Operations of Dams. I began my professional career in the design of concrete, pre-stressed and metallic structures.
