I am a career professional in the insurance and risk management field, having served as an underwriter, international broker, insurance agency manager, insurance buyer (large horse breeding farm), and retail insurance broker (last 25 years of my career). I frequently speak on industry issues; provide third party consulting oversight on insurance programs for a fee; teach CE classes to persons with professional designations; write current events articles for publication; and have authored two insurance books (the most recent, "Executive Liability Insurance: From the Basics to an Advanced Approach", entered its fifth edition in 2013).
