I teach organizational risk management at Harvard University. I work with the harmonized high-level structure of ISO and with ISO 31000:2018. While working at SAI Global, I worked with AS/NZS 4360:2004 - the predecessor to ISO 31000:2009. I have developed methods to scan the internal and external operating environments for organizations using ISO management system standards. I use uncertainty analysis to find the key opportunities and threats. I favor the opportunity side of risk management. I am the author of "Organizational Risk Management and Sustainability: A Practical Step-by-Step Guide". I use this book as a text in my online course, "Fundamentals of Organizational Sustainability." I am active on LinkedIn and have published on LinkedIn Pulse. It is a great privilege to be a member of this network. I am looking forward to some great discussions.
