Russ Crawford has worked in the Canadian commodity sector in various capacities for the past 40 years. He has held positions in both Eastern and Western Canada for various companies including Cargill, Alberta Wheat Pool, London Agricultural Commodities, Inc. and Net Energy Inc. Since 1999 Russ has managed his own consulting practice, Agrinomics I.T. Consulting Ltd., providing risk management and advisory services to a broad range of clients. Russ’ career work experience has included commodity trader, operations manager, department supervisor and strategic planner. Russ started his own consulting practice focusing on Information Technology solutions in the commodities sector as well as sophisticated, risk management solutions including electronic trading and clearing to streamline trade and reduce transactional risk. Russ has been actively involved in the hemp sector since 2008 as an adviser, policy analyst and advocate. He is currently Vice President of the Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance and a Director of Naturally Splendid Enterprises Ltd.
