SC. in "Statistics", Faculty of Economic & Social Studies, U of K -April 1979. III- Skill Profile 1. Diagnostic and problem solving ability obtained from experience in conducting researches. IV- EXPERIENCE AND WORK HISTORY 1.1 March 2012 - Up-To-Date I have assumed the post of” GM of BELKIS Multi-Trade Company”. The company renders, among others, administrative services in the field of studying business processes and developing work procedure guides to ensure efficiency and work controls are properly maintained. . studies of the 1.2 Jan 2011 – Dec 2011 I worked, during this period, with PETRONAS, on a service contract basis, to study selected areas of business processes. The aim was to improve efficiency, enhance work controls and set basis for self-assessment. PETRONAS Marketing Sudan 2,1 Finance Department (October 2009-Dec 2010) I worked as Systems & Controls Manager. The position's main portfolio is to manage periodic reviews to check assurance/compliance to policies and procedures, ensure existence of proper control environment and that all business processes are optimized vis-à-vis continuous business improvement. 2.2 Brand Department -(July 2007 – Sept 2009). I worked as "Customers’ Relations Manager" .The purpose of this position is to manage customers' orders and queries & complaints with the goal to optimize customers' satisfaction. This is to be achieved through managing the customer relations staff and undertaking regular surveys to invite customers' feedback on the company's performance and set plans to close the gaps. 2.3 Finance Department A. November/ 2004 – July 2007 I worked as "Treasury Manager". The main purpose of the job is to manage & optimize the allocation of funds to the various investment opportunities in order to ensure optimum use of funds. B. (August / 2003 -November/2004) I worked as “Controls Manager”. The main purpose of the job is to enhance control awareness and test the compliance to operating procedures and policies. 3. Exxon Mobil Sudan 3.1 Accounting & Finance Department (May 2000- August 2003). I worked as "Controls Manager" with the following assigned duties: a. Facilitate staff training on controls. b. Improve on the control process. c. Provide Advisory services to staff and management on control issues. d. Inspect the company's various departments & units to ensure compliance to work Procedures and policies, report irregularities and set the required corrective actions. e. Undertakes improvement initiatives and communicate to top management for implementation. 3.2 Customer Service Department (April 1998- April 2000): I worked as Business Improvement Manager, the main tasks of which include: A. Revising work processes with a view to update old / issue new marketing policies / procedures. B. Arranging for customers' forums to identify customers' needs & preferences with a view to undertake customers' satisfaction plans & programs. C. Conducting marketing support forums with a view to foster marketers' sales efforts. 3.3 Marketing Department (March 1995 - April 1998) I worked as “Marketing Area Manager” in charge of managing the marketing business in the Gezira, Sinnar and Blue Nile States. The assignment included the preservation & development of existing company business as well as the creation of new markets for the company's products. During this assignment, namely, by end of 1996, I was awarded a financial prize for selling 46% of Total lube oil sales for that year. 3.4 Operations Department A. Wad Medani Terminal (June 1994- March. 1995) I worked as “Terminal Manager”, the main of which is to manage the terminal's operations, namely, cash, billing & shipping operations, inventory control, in addition to managing the company's business with the Gezira State Government. B. Port-Sudan Terminal (August 1992- May 1994): I worked as “Administration and Documentation Unit Supervisor”, the main assignment of which was to manage the following operations: a. Cash, Billing & Shipping. b. Accounts Payable. c. Inventory Control. d. Data Processing & Back-up. e. Staff Training and development. f.
