I have over 30 years of “living” in the financial industry. I have traded prop books and have structured products through the great moments of our time: The Hunt Brothers Silver Squeeze in’79, The Base Metal Tin Squeeze ‘82, The Great Stock Market collapse in ’87, The Dot Com Bubble 2000 ,the Financial Crisis in 2008 and Austerity in 2012. Commitment, passion and creativity have put me at the forefront of the financial industry allowing me to accumulate the experience and knowledge in a diverse product range, covering FX, CFD’s, Futures Options along with savvy business acumen. I have set up successful businesses from inception, as well as work and held directorship in arguably the greatest and most entrepreneurial companies of their day: Drexel Burnham Lambert, EF Hutton, Paine Webber and Dean Witter. I ran one of The City of London’s first boutique finance companies Stephen Mepstead Ltd, a full carrying S.F.A. member (licensed to hold clients funds and contract directly); held membership of the A.F.B.D. (The city of London original financial regulatory body) In the last ten years I have been involved with a regulated boutique asset management company in Switzerland and with a financial securities company in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. I have also given seminars on the fundamental and technical side of the business and written a book: The Mind Games of Trading. Now based back in London I am offering my services as a Consultant specializing in start ups, fine-tuning and improving Companies bottom line profit margins. There are Companies and Companies, offering basically the same products, only a few will have the savvy business acumen and knowledge to make them selves profitable and grow year after year no matter what the climate.
