Stewart J. Melanson B.Sc., MBA, PhD Currently working on a project on improving higher educational systems. prior positions included Practice Manager, Enterprise Council on Small Business,CEB Inc. As Practice Manager I was responsible for the overall performance of the practice and its content through comprehensive research (2012 to 2013). Have strong skills in research (quantitative and qualitative), advanced survey methods. Was an Assistant Professor in the Strategy and Entrepreneurship Department at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University from 2007 until 2012. Stewart holds a B.Sc., an M.B.A. and received his doctorate degree in Strategic Management from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto; his doctoral thesis was on institutional change in corporate governance. Stewart has also been the project leader for governance research with The Anderson Governance Group from 2002 until 2011, encompassing international studies on trends in corporate governance; from 2003 to 2008 this research was conducted collaboratively between The Anderson Governance Group and McKinsey & Company. Research findings have been presented at academic conferences and published in academic journals/proceedings as well as published in practitioner publications such as ICD Director.
