I am a Chartered Accountant (equivalent to CPA) having more than 7 years of post qualification experience in internal audit, financial analysis, debt portfolio analysis / management and risk management and credit underwriting. Currently working as Credit Manager in Commercial Banking Division of The Royal Bank of Scotland N.V., New Delhi. I aim to be a Risk Control professional with a sound understanding of the business needs. After completion of Chartered Accountancy, I decided to first gain experience in audit, control and business re-engineering areas and then transitioned to the “Relationship Manager” role in banks to acquire “Front Office” oriented skills. Risk and Control remained my strong areas even while I gained exposure to the business side of the banking. With over 6 years of experience in the Front Office, I want to return to the core Risk and Control function.
